Church staff this week has had the opportunity to witness how camp creates an environment where campers feel comfortable in their own skin, and has the freedom to be themselves. Campers feel comfortable to be crazy, dance during morning chapel and evening campfires. They begin to share their joy's and their struggles of their lives with their counselors. Campers begin to feel accepted by their counselors, their friends, and most importantly God.
Today has been filled with high energy morning chapel, and a camp favorite...BEACH BASH! Camp WAPO is sacred grounds, and truly a place that Celebrates Jesus and Kids!

After free-time this afternoon, campers head back to their cabins and take a shower and put their nicest shirt or dress packed and enjoy getting dressed up! Banquet night is a favorite for many campers. After a nice meal, campers will be enjoying "Masterpiece" which is an hour of silly counselor skits.
I cant believe tomorrow is Friday and its time for campers to head home. It has been an amazing week, and God has shown up in BIG ways!
